Swaraaj Driver App is “Drivers ka Apna App”, designed to make cab drivers truly Aatma Nirbhar (self-reliant). It helps drivers take control of their rides, earnings, and customers — without depending on online cab booking platforms or losing income to commissions.

2️⃣ Is Swaraaj an online cab booking app?

No. Swaraaj is not an online cab-hailing or aggregator app. It doesn’t assign rides or connect drivers with passengers online. Drivers take offline trips directly from the road and use the app to show fare estimates, track trips, and generate invoices.

3️⃣ How is Swaraaj different from other cab apps?

6️⃣ How does the “Wave and Ride” system work?
  1. Rider waves at an empty Swaraaj cab.
  2. Driver shows fare estimate in the app.
  3. Rider shares mobile number to start the trip.
  4. Begin the ride instantly.
  5. Rider pays the driver directly after the trip.
  6. Invoice available in the Swaraaj Rider App.

7️⃣ What is a Tech Fee?

The Tech Fee is a small technology fee added to each trip’s invoice. It is collected from the rider and automatically deducted from the driver’s wallet after each trip. This fee supports platform maintenance while keeping subscriptions low.

8️⃣ What is the wallet balance used for?

Your wallet balance is used to automatically deduct the Tech Fee per trip. Maintain enough balance to continue using the app smoothly. Top up anytime from the Wallet section.

9️⃣ What happens if my wallet balance is low or zero?

If your wallet balance is insufficient, new trips cannot start until you recharge. Top up easily within the app.

🔟 Why is my Driver App disabled?
  • Vehicle documents have expired.
  • KYC is pending verification.
  • Subscription expired or wallet insufficient.

Once resolved, access is automatically restored.

11️⃣ What kind of subscription is required?

An active monthly subscription is required to use Swaraaj Driver App features like fare tools, tracking, and invoices — with no commissions on earnings.

12️⃣ How do I top up my wallet balance?

Go to the Wallet section in the app and add money using any available payment option. This ensures Tech Fees are deducted seamlessly and trips continue without interruption.

13️⃣ How is the fare calculated?

Total Fare = Base Fare (first 3 km) + Per Km Rate (after 3 km) + Time Fare + Tech Fee + 5% Tax

Note: Tolls on the route must be paid directly by the rider and are not included in the app fare.

Drivers can apply discounts from their profile to adjust fares when needed.

14️⃣ How do I start a Hail Trip?
  1. Tap the Hail Trip icon.
  2. Enter From and To locations.
  3. Show fare estimate to the customer.
  4. If they agree, enter mobile number and start the trip.
  5. End trip on arrival — final fare excludes tolls.
15️⃣ Why is the rider’s mobile number required?

The rider’s number links their trip to the Swaraaj Rider App, allowing them to view history and download invoices.

16️⃣ What if the rider doesn’t want to share their mobile number?

If the rider doesn’t wish to share their number, select “No Invoice History” to continue. The trip proceeds, but the rider cannot view trip history or receive an invoice.

17️⃣ How can Fleet Managers use the Swaraaj Driver App?

Fleet Owners or Managers can manage multiple vehicles and drivers:

  • Select “Fleet Manager” profile in the app.
  • Add vehicles and assign drivers using their mobile numbers.
  • Drivers receive a Fleet Request to accept.
  • Fleet Managers can view earnings, trips, and reassign drivers anytime.
18️⃣ Can drivers download promotional materials?

Yes, from within the app:

  • Stickers: Download → Print on A3 sticker → Paste on cab doors.
  • Posters: Download → Print on A4 → Laminate and hang inside cab.
19️⃣ What is the YouTube Videos section?

The app has a YouTube section featuring training, informational, and update videos — helping drivers learn and grow their earnings.
